In the world of international missions, it is easy to focus solely on the "moment of encounter"—the crusade, the hand raised, or the prayer for salvation. While these moments are vital, a major burden behind Ekballo International is that people would not simply hear the Gospel, but be personally discipled and established afterward. Without a bridge to discipleship, the "fire" of an encounter can quickly be replaced by the old patterns of life.
Walking with People

True ministry does not end at evangelism; it continues in people, in families, and in ongoing accompaniment. We believe that personal, daily encounters with God are the foundation for growth and fruitfulness. This is why we value walking with people from their first encounter with Jesus to ongoing transformation. It’s not just about how many people heard the message, but how many are walking in their God-given destiny.

The Local Church Connection

The bridge across this gap is the local community of faith. We don’t just want to see individuals saved; we want to see them established in lasting communities where they can be strengthened and equipped. This strategy involves partnering with local leaders to ensure that when a mission team leaves, a healthy, discipleship-focused community remains.

A Mission of Depth

Ekballo is a sending platform that carries two forces at once: the urgency to go where no one has gone yet, and the depth to stay and walk alongside those who respond. We believe every person has a God-given purpose, and discipleship is the process of helping them discover and live out that purpose.

Key Takeaways

Many believers experience an encounter but lack the infrastructure for growth.

A commitment to personal accompaniment and long-term mentorship.

Seeing every person established in a community where they can fulfill their destiny.

Moving from "decisions" to "transformed laborers" for the harvest.

"The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Whether you are called to go, to send, or to pray, your place in the mission is vital. Let's start a conversation about how we can reach the unreached together."
